Though this was not advertised as a romance, that’s what it turned out to be. Tom Cruise was able to pull off being the over-dramatic action hero and Cameron Diaz was somewhat able to pull off the ditsy blond who should listen more than talk. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than I thought, often straying into the unbelievable ridiculousness for which Hollywood is known.
