A fairly average “boy-meets-girl” movie, except that the guy’s a total square and the chick’s ten thousand degrees (that means she’s hot). There’s plenty of clever writing, and Jay Baruchel is excellent at being as awkward as possible. Besides the occasional butt, there are plenty of good jokes and atypical comedy. Which is a good thing I guess.
